DDC expands cold-chain network to Karnali Province

New chilling centres in Surkhet and Jumla will bring fresher milk to western Nepal and support 600+ new farming families. The Rs. 120 million investment was funded through a Government of Nepal public enterprise development grant and marks the first major cold-chain infrastructure in the province.

New Pokhara distribution centre opens

A state-of-the-art distribution and chilling centre has been inaugurated in Birauta, Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City. The facility increases DDC's distribution capacity in Gandaki Province by 40%, serving Kaski, Lamjung, Syangja, and Parbat districts.

As part of the Government of Nepal's School Nutrition Programme, DDC has begun supplying 500 ml fresh milk packets to 500 public schools in Kathmandu Valley every school day, benefiting over 85,000 students.
